In June 2017, for the first time, MALTEM was at Futur en Seine, the biggest digital festival in Europe, with its new entity dedicated to innovation, FUTURS. It presented with Total and ESSEC a POC of participative production of solar energy, thanks to the IoT and the blockchain.
How to make solar energy productionaccessible to all, while reducing the electricity bill?
Mysolar allows individuals to buy solar panels which are on Total’s gas stations. They will become owner of green energy they have produced and which can be deduced from their electricity bill. The produced energy is measured thanks to IoT sensors and tracked thanks to the blockchain, two technologies on which MALTEM / FUTURS have a strong expertise.
It is triple:
At Futur en Seine, a ludic model but realist of Mysolar is presented on the stand TOTAL / MALTEM / ESSEC. It is allowing as many people as possible to understand the functioning, with real connected objects and an operational blockchain.

Digital is no longer a world. It’s infiltrating social links, public actions, business relations. It’s changing our way of thinking, communicate and produce.
We thought that this revolution will create a world more open, more horizontal, more democratic. In the end, the digital transformation is facing the risk to be confiscate by some American or Asiatic giants and all big industries of the twentieth century. All economic and social balances are threatened by this radical disruptive.
A new world is coming with new hierarchies, new possibilities but also new risks, which must be understood and mastered to contribute to the common good. Because this revolution step over and abolish barriers between sectors, professions and skills, it needs to be understood and mastered by groups mixing and hybridizing expertise. This is the entire purpose of FUTURS.
FUTURS is a laboratory of digital innovation and incubator with a total vision around goals and impacts to support great organizations and the society in their transformations.
FUTURS is deeply European and Mediterranean. From Averroes to Pasteur, to each great technological and industrial, Europe and Mediterranean have given to Humanity scholars, engineers and thinker able to apprehend it.
Today, while GAFA, NATUand BATX want to be the only masters of our future, ignoring Europe and Africa, we must again assert this singularity in compliance with our scientific, technological and philosophic traditions.
It is with this mind that FUTURS wants to strive for digital humanism. FUTURS imagines, produces, manages and spreads innovative projects consistent with this vision. FUTURS refuses to be involved in projects which jeopardize Humanity and its lifestyle: attacking the right of private life, the individual free will or the environment.
Tomorrow doesn’t wait: let’s write our Futurs today.
